1936-ம் ஆண்டு திண்டுக்கல் மாவட்டம், பழனிக்கு அருகிலுள்ள கணக்கன்பதி (கணக்கன்பட்டி) என்ற ஊரிலுள்ள காளியம்மன் கோவிலில் திடீரென்று ஒருநாள் கோவணத்துடன் தோன்றிய அகண்ட பரிபூரண சச்சிதானந்த சற்குரு சுவாமிகளின் முகவசீகரம் அந்த ஊர் மக்களைக் கவர்ந்திழுத்தது. அவர் எங்கு பிறந்தார், எங்கிருந்து வந்தார் என்று எவருக்கும் தெரியவில்லை. அவரை இறைவனின் அவதாரமாகக் கருதிய அந்த ஊர்மக்களின் அன்பு, இரண்டு ஆண்டுகளுக்கு அவரை அங்கேயே தங்கவைத்தது. திருமூலர் கூறிய சிவசித்தரின் இயல்புகளை முழுவதுமாகப் பெற்றிருந்த சுவாமிகள், தம்மை நாடி வந்தவர்களுக்கு உபதேசங்கள் செய்ததுடன் அதிசயங்களையும் நிகழ்த்திக்காட்டினார். மேலும்…
